I see, I see, I say that you should do a triple alternation, watch those two and something that qualifies to be at dxd level. Make sure that you limit yourself so you don't watch the good one(s) and leave the ok one(s) behind, make a even balance of three categories and get trough more alot more than you think.

If that doesn't work for you then do what I do
I find a interesting anime, and I put the shortcut to the page on my homescreen and when Im board I look and watch it, and if you feel the need that you're board but dont watch that anime, just watch it, that happens to me alot but I end up loving the anime in the end.
I did that with crime edge, I hated it at first and left it on my home page for like a year and then I watched it and its one of my favorite animes ever to this date, also I use the same strategy for ongoing animes and rename it so it puts the date of the next episode
