You may be older then her chronologically, but not mentally, or biologically. It doesn't matter if they are thousands of years old, or only a few decades, if they are considered elderly by there peoples standards, they should be shown respect.

*The boy sits in his tent and eats/drinks his grandmother's soup*

"I'm still old." Araijuna said. "Y U no respect me?"

*A faint 'Hey wait!' Could be heard from behind Val and Araijuna*

Because you don't appear, or act, like you're elderly, and I don't think you're that old. *Teks ears flick* Did you hear something?

*Running up the hill is The boy from the camp* "HEY!"

"Yeah." Araijuna turns around. "Oh. It's that boy."

*The boy reaches them out of breath* "I-I'm coming with!

No, you aren't, I don't want to be responsible for protecting you.

"Protecting me? I can defend myself." *The boy tugs up on his face mask*

*Val scoffs* Prove it.

"How am I suppose to do that?"

*She folds her arms* Hit me.

"No, I'm not just gonna hit you!"

Then go back home. *She glares down at him.*

"No. I won't just hit you but I can easily defend myself."

I said prove it!

*The boy runs his hand along his sort of ragged thin cloth scarf that hangs from his neck. It turns purple along with his face mask and hood. His hand forms into a purple flame and he punches Val*

*Vals head moves to the side as he punches her, there's a scorch mark on her cheek where he hit her, she smiles* Hmm, guess you do have some fight in you.

*The boy's hood scarf and face mask return to black* "Did I hurt you?"

*She smiles* I've had worse injuries.

"Sorry about the uh, the burn."

Ehh, isn't as bad as it looks, *She rubs her cheek* Suppose you can come with us.

"Thanks. So uh, where are you going?"
